For a growing international company in the fresh-food industry in Barendrecht, we are looking for an accurate Quality Controller. The company specialises in the import, processing, quality inspection and packaging of fresh products — mainly ginger and garlic — for retailers, wholesalers and foodservice customers across Europe. You will work in a modern, clean production and warehouse environment where hygiene, food safety and product quality are the top priority. The team is compact and colleagues support each other between departments — a practical, direct and quality-focused working culture. Clear communication is valued: rather ask one question too many than make a costly mistake. As Quality Controller you are the final check before products go to the customer. You quickly recognise anything that does not meet the standard and record findings carefully. What will you do?
- Inspecting fresh ginger, garlic and other products

- Identifying damaged or unsuitable products
- Recording inspection results accurately
- Checking packaging and product labels
- Supporting order picking and packing activities when required
- Following hygiene, food-safety and quality procedures
